Chief rabbi of Georgian Jews dies at age 71

The chief rabbi of Georgian Jews, Rabbi Raphael Elashvili, died on Thursday at age 71. Elashvili immigrated to Israel in 1971 and was active in the immigration and absorption of Georgian Jews in Israel. (Ilan Marciano)
